Wahroonga and North Wahroonga are highly residential suburbs within Sydney. As primarily a residential suburb, locals need to be able to enjoy the water, despite not living close to any natural bodies of swimming water. Wahroonga and North Wahroonga residents can now enjoy a well-built, customised swimming pool from the premiere pool builders in the area: Aquify Pools!
Our Spillway Series is the perfect large family pool for those looking to combine fun and relaxation. This combination of a serene relaxation spa pool (complete with jets!) and a narrow lap pool provides ample space for enjoyment on hot, sunny days. The Spillway is one of only two of our swimming pools, a spa and pool combination, with a waterfall feature that comes with your purchase.
The Spillway Series features three different types of spa pools: Apollo, Nova, and Cove. These three options seat between five and seven people, with the Cove pool being the simplest, shallowest design, optimal for those with children, as it’s essentially the depth of a kiddie-wading pool. In terms of complexity, the Spillway is among the more complex swimming pools that we offer, but having a spa and pool combination is the ultimate in luxury – and fun – for the whole family, with room for friends!
The Spillway Series’ Apollo pool spa has a jet system moulded into the fibreglass, providing relaxing jets with an external control system. While Apollo is the most complicated of pool spa designs, our other two design options in the Spillway series: Cove and Nova, are simpler, giving you options to cut down on pool installation costs while providing a wonderful space for family fun and relaxation.
The Lap Pool Series is the perfect option for an exercise swimming pool. These two pools – named Ultimo and Primo – are 25 metres long by 9 and 11 metres wide, respectively. While they don’t have the width to accommodate many people, they are perfect for solo swims (perhaps as part of a morning exercise routine), couples’ swims, or a small family.
The Ultimo and Primo fibreglass lap pools have a constant depth of 1.4 metres and can only be installed as in-ground swimming pools. Their sleek and slender design makes them perfect for those looking for a rectangular addition to their outdoor space, which doesn’t take up much real estate.
The lap pool series’ is designed with streamlining in mind, including safety ledges on both sides to allow children to sit and stand safely, with a shallow depth on both models of swimming pools. One side of Ultimo and Primo pools features side-entry steps, allowing supervised, learning swimmers an easy place to push off from and begin paddling. This makes the Ultimo and Primo pools perfect for families with young children learning to swim. During your swimming pool installation consultation, we can accommodate additional safety features like entry rails for added protection.
Our lap pool series is the ultimate blend of an exercise pool with a family-fun pool!
The Round Pool Series looks different from our other space-saving swimming pools! Uniquely designed, the rounded swimming pool is exclusively designed to be an above-ground pool, or a partially in-ground pool, built on level ground that’s often built up with earth and surrounded by earth with an approach created by steps.
There are steps for entry into each of our two pools in the range – the Infinity and Terrace 3.0 – while the Infinity swimming pool includes a 400mm wide bench constructed of fibreglass that encircles it. For those looking for a spa pool, both Round Pool series come with spa jets as an option.
The Round Pool series has a 3 metre wide diameter and 1.45 metre depth, allowing them to be constructed by our expert pool builders in small backyards, allowing you to have the backyard pool you’ve always dreamed of. Our pool designers will work with you to maximise the use of your available space while giving you the rounded pool of your dreams.
Relax and recuperate in our Round Pool series – there’s plenty of space to invite friends over, although the pool isn’t ideal for horseplay by children. If you have younger children who’d you like to teach to swim, then the Round Pool may be a better option than some of our larger pools, but it is primarily a rest and relaxation pool. If you have the backyard space, a Round Pool may be a good option as a secondary spa pool.

The answer is could be either depending on your property and what is most important to you, if you are unsure get an onsite appraisal done for both and see which you feel is better suited to your family. Some key points a lot of families make their decision based on are listed below:
Warranty: With a fibreglass pool the warranties are almost always longer than concrete pool warranties. At Aquify Pools we offer 35-year structural warranty (also considered a Lifetime Warranty) on our pools with and industry leading lifetime guarantee on the interior surface. Concrete pools typically have a 7 year warranty for structural and interior finish
Design: Concrete pools can be made to any shape, or depth so if you had a very specific design or even an unusually shaped yard that would be difficult to fit a more typical shaped pool then concrete will give you that flexibility. Fibreglass pools come in set shapes and sizes but there are a lot of amazing designs to choose from and you also get the advantage to look at completed images of the exact pool you are considering.
Surface: Fibreglass pools have a smooth interior so your family doesn’t need to worry about getting cuts or scratches as can happen in a concrete pool (plaster, tile aggregate) especially important if you have active kids who have softer skin. The smooth surface of Fibreglass has other advantages the non-porous surface also makes fibreglass pools a lot easier to clean, less expensive to maintain as there are less costs for pool chemicals.
A fibre glass pool can be installed on pretty much any type of site including sloping. There are many solutions to assist with installing a pool in a sloping yard, whether it requires a retaining wall(s), a site cut or extra soil to be moved around, our pool consultants can advise on the best options for your site and we have many solutions available
It’s not every day that you get to deliver and install a swimming pool from the sea! Check out the video on how our in-house team managed this unordinary install plus more of our recent installs on our YouTube channel.
We have a variety of tools we use to detect rock if needed such as rock probes, geotechnical reports, soil testing and VENIM reports. Our excavation team have vast experience in working with all types of rock and soils in all areas of NSW including sandstone (most common), iron stone, hard shale along with other types of top soils including clay and sand. Often what is underground is hard to determine until digging begins, and our team are equipped with machinery onsite to deal with all types of rock including hydraulic rock breakers and rock saws to break down and excavate rock if required.
Yes, all Aquify Pools carry a 35-year warranty (also known as an Extended Lifetime Warranty) and on top of this our pools also carry a fade resistant ColourGuard Guarantee for 10 years coupled with the Interior Surface Guarantee for 25 years – this is the longest interior pool surface warranty available in Australia. These Warranties and Guarantees are industry leading and give you peace of mind for your investment.
